My Story, from our sister, Anonymous

My mom suffers from MCS?EI. Her symtoms are asthma attacks, dizziness, swelling of tongue and throat, disorientation, etc.

Unfortunately, the bros and sis have never been very understanding.  Even in the bookstudy group.  Although, the one we have now is better than many others.  I am beginning to show some of the same symptoms of this (eeeek!).

I always have to watch Mom at assemblies, especially.  She won't want to leave because of all the effort to get there, but she has to be able to breathe.  There is something that helps quite a bit--there is a pressure point on the back, right under the edge of the shoulder blade directly in the middle of the upper back.  There will be a very tight little knot of muscle there during an attack.  When this is unknotted by a loved one, it relieves the attack at a much faster rate.  Makes you want to cry while it is being rubbed, but the results are so much better!  She also needs to take her inhalers, etc.  I know that this situation is soooo very frustrating!

It proves the point that we are in the truth for Jehovah and not for people, and shows us just how far we all need to go in understanding and fellow feeling.  No wonder we keep getting the reminders we do!  Please don't ever give up!

May Jah continue to bless your perserverance,
